Nestled in the scenic landscape of Verbier, Switzerland, this luxurious chalet, a symbol of modern elegance and comfort, showcases the remarkable capability of London Electricals Ltd. in providing top-tier automation services. We were privileged to bring an innovative blend of technology and design to life, transforming this mountain retreat into a fully automated and seamlessly connected home.

 

The centrepiece of this project is the Lutron Homeworks QS system, a state-of-the-art lighting solution designed to ensure the optimal illumination of the chalet's breathtaking interior. As accredited Lutron Pro Installers, we skillfully incorporated this system, creating various mood settings and scenarios to complement the different times of the day and occupant activities. 

 

We further enhanced the occupant's control by integrating Savant - a leading home automation platform known for its unrivalled user experience. This integration extends the chalet's smart capabilities beyond lighting, including climate control, entertainment, and security systems. Savant, with its user-friendly interface, puts the chalet’s environment at the fingertips of the occupants.

 

Recognising the importance of robust, reliable networking to support these sophisticated automation systems, we established a comprehensive network infrastructure using UniFi technology. This network is the backbone of the chalet's integrated systems and ensures stable, secure, high-speed connectivity throughout the property.

 

Our involvement in the project extends beyond the installation phase. With remote access capabilities of the UniFi and Savant systems, we provide continuous support and maintenance. We can troubleshoot and resolve issues no matter the distance, ensuring the chalet's systems run smoothly.

 

We also harmonised the KNX protocol with the chalet's heating system, ensuring efficient energy use and optimal indoor comfort, regardless of the Alpine weather outside. This KNX integration adds another layer of automation, increasing the property's energy efficiency while simplifying control for the occupants.

 

Lastly, we installed a Sonos system, a simple yet powerful solution that delivers an immersive sound experience throughout the chalet. The occupants can stream their favourite music from the living area to the bedrooms, creating a soundtrack that perfectly suits their mountain getaway.
