Electrical, lighting control and smart-home services

London Electricals helps homeowners, professional teams and property managers plan new systems, assess inherited installations and choose the right next step.

What do you need help with?

Plan a new project Repair or upgrade a system

Choose the right route

Lighting control

Plan circuits, loads, drivers, controls, keypads and programming as one coordinated system. Start here for new projects, refurbishments and lighting-control upgrades.

Smart home and AV

Define what the system must do before choosing equipment. Larger whole-home, cinema and integrated AV projects may be routed to GLO Audio Visual Ltd with the delivery company stated clearly.

Door entry and networks

Plan the power, data, switching, Wi-Fi and access-control interfaces that connected systems rely on. Existing installations begin with a survey of the equipment and cabling already in place.

Repairs and support

Get a structured assessment of a faulty, outdated or inherited system. We identify the platform, available records, access, symptoms and dependencies before recommending repair, upgrade or takeover work.

Start with the problem, not the product name

You do not need to diagnose the fault or know every model number before contacting us. Useful starting points include lights that flicker or no longer dim correctly, keypads or apps that have stopped responding, unreliable Wi-Fi, an inherited rack with no handover records, or a door-entry system that needs to work with new locks or networks.

A survey is used to establish what is installed, what can be accessed safely and which parts of the system are genuinely responsible. That avoids promising a remote fix before the wiring, software access and equipment condition are understood.

A practical route from enquiry to answer

1. Tell us the situation

Share the property type, postcode, whether the system is new or existing, and the outcome you need. Photographs, drawings and equipment details help when available.

2. We define the first useful step

That may be a design conversation, a site survey, a fault assessment or a request for existing project files and records.

3. Scope and responsibilities are made clear

We identify electrical, network, control, building-work and third-party dependencies before work is agreed.

4. Delivery and handover

Agreed work is installed, programmed or repaired, then tested and handed over with the appropriate records and access information.

How London Electricals and GLO work together

London Electricals Ltd and GLO Audio Visual Ltd are separate companies that work together. London Electricals is the primary route for specialist lighting-control, repair, upgrade, network and door-entry enquiries within its capability. Where a project becomes a substantial whole-home integration, dedicated cinema or major AV programme, the appropriate GLO team may qualify, contract or deliver that scope.

The enquiry source and delivery company remain explicit. Project photographs, credentials and case studies are shown only when the relevant company, scope and permissions have been verified.

For architects, designers, electricians and contractors

Early coordination is useful before circuits, drivers, containment, panel locations, power, data and control interfaces are fixed. We can help turn the intended user experience into coordinated information for the wider design and installation team.

See the current professional and CPD route while its replacement is being prepared.

Questions clients ask before choosing a route

Do you work on systems installed by another company?

Yes. The first step is normally a survey of the installed equipment, wiring, software or project-file access and the symptoms. We can then explain what is serviceable, what remains uncertain and whether repair, upgrade or takeover is the sensible route.

Which jobs are handled by London Electricals and which by GLO?

London Electricals is the primary route for the specialist services described on this site. Larger whole-home integration, cinema and major AV projects may be routed to GLO Audio Visual Ltd. The company responsible for the proposal and delivery is stated before work proceeds.

Can you help before drawings or wiring are finalised?

Yes. Early involvement allows the lighting loads, drivers, control protocols, panels, racks, power, data and containment to be coordinated before changes become disruptive or expensive.

Do you undertake residential and commercial work?

The correct route depends on the building, system and scope. Send the property or project type and the required outcome so the enquiry can be assessed against current capability.

What should I send with an enquiry?

Start with the site postcode, property or project type, whether the system is new or existing, the main symptom or desired outcome, and any known manufacturer. Photographs of keypads, panels, racks or door stations and any drawings or schedules are useful but not essential for the first contact.

Project proof is being verified before publication

The current portfolio contains strong lighting-control, network, smart-home and AV work, but each case study is being checked for delivery company, technical scope, image rights and privacy-safe wording before it is used as proof. Unverified awards, accreditation wording and project ownership are deliberately omitted from this page.

Tell us about the project or the problem

A short description is enough to begin. Include the postcode, whether the system is new or existing, the required outcome and any photographs or documents you already have.
