01 · Scope & delivery

Make the meeting room ready for the people using it.

A meeting room should let people present, hear and connect with a clear routine. We discuss the room size, users, presentation sources and conferencing requirements before shaping the equipment and installation. Screen location, sound, lighting, shading and controls belong in the same design conversation.

Power and data connections are coordinated with furniture, floors, walls and ceilings. A practical route to connect a device, adjust the room and return to the standard setting helps staff use the technology consistently. We commission the agreed functions and introduce the system at handover.

02 · Scope & delivery

Business and guest connectivity with an understood design.

Networks support staff devices, room technology and many building systems. We review the intended users, equipment, coverage and management requirements, then plan the structured cabling, switching and wireless installation around the premises.

Guest access and business traffic can be separated through the agreed network design. Equipment location, service access and the arrangements for managing the network are discussed with the operator or IT team. Testing follows the specification and handover identifies the relevant equipment and support responsibilities.

03 · Scope & delivery

The cabling and equipment behind dependable operation.

Data outlets, presentation connections, access points and control equipment need clear routes and suitable locations. We coordinate containment, cabling and power with the electrical installation, keeping the fit-out programme and future access in view.

The equipment schedule and intended room use inform what reaches first fix. Labels and installation records then help the building team understand the finished network and room technology. For upgrades, we review retained wiring and equipment before defining the changes.

04 · Scope & delivery

Background music with useful zones and simple control.

A shop, lounge or reception may need several audio areas, with levels and sources suited to each setting. We plan speaker placement, zones, equipment and controls around the room layout and how staff manage the day.

The network, cabling and electrical requirements are brought into the wider installation. We demonstrate the agreed operation and introduce the routine controls at handover, so the music becomes a straightforward part of using the space.

05 · Scope & delivery

Connect the room systems where it improves the experience.

A presentation scene can bring lighting, shading and technology into an understood sequence. A reception may benefit from clear operator controls for music and lighting. We define the useful functions, supported interfaces and responsibilities with the team rather than adding complexity for its own sake.

The commissioned controls should match the agreed brief. We test the ordinary user journey as well as the individual equipment functions, then provide the relevant configuration information and operator introduction.

06 · Scope & delivery

Lighting, music and Wi-Fi in one retail installation.

At Great Portland Street, our published shop project combines Lutron Vive lighting and Orluna fittings with Sonos background music and Ruckus Wi-Fi. Separate networks serve guests and management. Each system contributes to the way the interior works.

That coordinated approach also informs meeting rooms and other commercial spaces. We review the brief as a whole, identify the installation requirements and bring the equipment, connectivity and everyday controls into a practical proposal.

07 · Scope & delivery

Keep the installation understandable after handover.

Useful records, agreed access and a clear support route help your team manage the technology over time. We introduce the installed systems, identify the equipment and explain the routine controls as part of handover.

An existing-system review can address recurring faults, changed requirements or a planned upgrade. Maintenance and support are shaped around the installed technology and the coverage needed by the operator.

08 · Scope & delivery

One coordinated scope. Clear interfaces.

A fit-out brings together the landlord’s requirements, the tenant’s brief, the design team and the contractors delivering each package. The connections between those packages deserve the same attention as the equipment. We help define power, cabling, control interfaces and commissioning responsibilities while there is still time to make considered decisions.

For quantity surveyors, consultants and main contractors, an organised scope makes proposals easier to compare. We identify the work included, the specialist interfaces and the information needed to price the next stage. Changes can then be discussed against an understood starting point, with the programme and handover kept in view.

Planning your project

Useful answers before we begin.

Can you coordinate with our IT team?

Yes. We agree the network, connectivity, equipment and management requirements with the appointed IT team and project specialists, then define the installation and support responsibilities.

Can guests have a separate Wi-Fi network?

Separate guest and business connectivity can form part of the agreed network design. Our Great Portland Street project includes separate guest and management Wi-Fi. We review the requirements for your premises and equipment.

Can lighting and blinds support presentations?

We can define a presentation scene using the supported room systems and interfaces. Lighting levels, shading, equipment controls and the ordinary user journey are coordinated and commissioned around the brief.

Do you review existing AV and networks?

We review the installed equipment, records and operating issues, then identify suitable improvements and the work needed. That provides a practical starting point for a takeover, upgrade or maintenance proposal.
