Colour-changing Rako lighting, Control4 background music and Ruckus Wi-Fi at a Harley Street scanning centre.
The European Scanning Centre on Harley Street asked us to improve the atmosphere of its scanning room. We brought together colour-changing lighting and background music, giving the clinical space a softer, more welcoming setting.
We installed Rako lighting with DMX-controlled LED colour changes. Smooth transitions between colours form part of the room’s lighting scheme, with high-CRI LED tape supporting accurate colour rendering.
A commercial Control4 installation provides background music. The project also includes KNX and BACnet integration, with a Ruckus Wi-Fi network across the six-storey clinic.
We carried out the installation in the evenings around the centre’s operating schedule. Coordinating the lighting, audio and network work allowed the project to fit around the day-to-day use of the building.
Tell us about your lighting, audio or building-control project. We’ll help bring the design and installation together.
