Perhaps the lighting is beautiful but the keypad labels no longer make sense. A room has been refurbished, replacement LED lamps behave differently, or the original installer is no longer available. A Lutron takeover starts with those everyday frustrations and the installation behind them. We separate restoring reliable operation from changes you would like to make to the home.
For an inherited HomeWorks installation, we review the relationship between buttons, lighting circuits, scenes and any motorised shades. The useful outcome is a room-by-room record: which controls serve each space, what is working, where a fault needs investigation, and which improvements can be scoped separately. An older system is not automatically a failed system.
A move to Alisse keypads or a newer processor is a design decision, not an assumed part of taking over support. Processor generation, link requirements, mounting, wiring and the lighting loads must be considered together. Where the lighting is connected to another control platform, the handover also needs to preserve the functions the household still relies on.
