Flashing or flickering
Review the load, lamp or driver, dimming range and module behaviour.
Services
Diagnosis and repair planning for flashing, flickering, unresponsive or inherited Rako lighting-control systems in London.
Rako fault finding
The same symptom can come from a lamp, driver, load, module, wiring, communication or configuration issue. We start by recording where and when the fault occurs, then isolate the affected part of the system.
Review the load, lamp or driver, dimming range and module behaviour.
Check control commands, module output, local wiring and the condition of the connected load.
Separate control, bridge, network, configuration and communication issues.
Identify equipment, access and existing configuration before making avoidable changes.
Gather symptoms, affected circuits, timing, recent changes, photographs and system age.
Test methodically and avoid replacing hardware until the fault domain is supported by evidence.
Carry out agreed repair work where viable or explain the upgrade and access constraints.
Possible causes include the lamp or driver, load compatibility, a dimming module, wiring, configuration or communication. The symptom needs to be isolated before a component is replaced.
We can assess wired and wireless Rako systems. The age, module types, bridge access, programming information and condition of the installation affect the available options.
Send the affected rooms, what changed before the fault, photographs of visible controls and modules, the approximate system age and whether the problem is constant or intermittent.
Tell us which rooms are affected, what the lights do and when the issue began.
From brief to handover
Understand the property, people, programme, existing systems and intended outcome.
Make the technical dependencies, interfaces and responsibilities visible.
Install and commission against the agreed scope with controlled changes.
Record ownership, operation, support boundaries and the next maintenance route.
