Town House Cinema: Concealed Screen, Immersive Sound

A cinema that fits the room

This London town-house project combines a dedicated cinema experience with a concealed screen and carefully coordinated lighting. The design brought picture, sound and control together within the agreed budget and the character of the interior.

Projection and Artcoustic sound

Epson 4K laser projection is paired with a retractable, acoustically transparent screen and Artcoustic loudspeakers. The team coordinated the projector, screen and speaker positions so the picture and surround sound worked as one installation.

Press play, settle in

Savant provides one-remote operation for the room, coordinating picture, sound and lighting. Lutron HomeWorks QS and warm-to-dim Orluna fittings create the lighting scenes, while the Ruckus network supports the connected equipment.

A complete room installation

The team brought the projection, screen, audio, controls and lighting together, including the cabling, ventilation and access behind the finished interior. Programming connected each part into a simple sequence from starting a film to finishing the evening.
