Useful information for your first visit
- List what works and what does not: rooms, keypads, lights, scenes, blinds and app control.
- Note the approximate installation date, any renovation and when the fault began.
- Keep handover files, drawings, old invoices, system backups and any installer contact details.
- Photograph processor or keypad labels only if they are already visible safely. Do not remove panel covers.
Do not factory-reset a processor or delete an app configuration in the hope of starting again. That can remove useful evidence and may interrupt working controls.
What an assessment can establish
Our engineer identifies the HomeWorks generation, maps the equipment and reviews the available access and backups. We then explain the practical options: restoring a room, updating the programming, recovering project information or planning an upgrade. A missing file starts that investigation; it does not automatically mean replacing the system.

A useful first visit has a defined outcome
Your engineer records the installed equipment, what has been checked and the recommended next step. You receive a clear route forward, whether that is a focused repair, refreshed programming, ongoing care or a planned upgrade.
